Company History

November 1995:      NuGeon Auto Components, Inc. is founded in Los Angeles.  

September 1996:      NuGeon launches the Aftermarket’s first complete semi-loaded reman caliper program.

October 1997:      NuGeon opens a southern California distribution center in Los Angeles.

November 1999:      NuGeon starts selling the SureStop semi-loaded caliper program after its sister company, QBR, acquires Sure Stop Manufacturing’s assets in Renton, WA.

September 2003:      NuGeon introduces the first powder-coated color caliper program in the Aftermarket.

April 2004:      NuGeon starts importing Axxis superior performance disc brake pads from FMP Australia.

June 2004:      NuGeon introduces the Axxis domestic brake pad program, made in USA.

June 2005:      NuGeon opens a Northeast distribution center in Trenton, NJ.

November 2005:      NuGeon relaunches its premium powder-coated caliper program under the NHT brand. Powder-coated calipers are now sold in axle sets.

November 2006:      NuGeon introduces the NUCHIN line of midgrade, semi-metallic, 100% shimmed disc brake pads.

January 2007:      NuGeon merges with its sister company, QBR Brake, Inc. QBR is the surviving company, doing business as NuGeon Auto Components, Inc.

April 2007:      NuGeon adds a full line of new brake shoes to its NUCHIN program

April 2008:      NuGeon moves its Northeast distribution center to Philadelphia, PA.

January 2009:      NuGeon adds a line of ceramic brake pads to its NUCHIN program.
